Foundation Walls: More Than Functional

Larry Baker, St. Louis foundation superintendent, and his talented foundation crews have found a way to make structural foundation walls more than just a functional necessity. Using a new innovative technique the foundation division can create an esthetically pleasing visual that is getting consumer and builder attention alike.
Joe Yonley, senior foreman, and his crew did the first “poured in place stone textured wall” for one of our existing customer builders. A new custom home builder we had not done business with before saw the effect while driving down the street and got in touch with Builder’s Bloc about using this “textured stone look” on a new home he is building. At least one other key St. Louis builder has expressed interest in this new procedure.
The St. Louis foundation staff is continually looking for new products and innovative applications. They are open to new ideas and embody the Builder’s Bloc goal of EMBRACING CHANGE.
